Miniature Titanic Outfits!

This is my first costume venture for this blog and a very complex and long one...

Anyone who loves costumes has seen this film and loves the beautiful outfits that Kate Winslet wore as Rose in the film and the attention to detail that all these outfits had.

I love these costumes too, and will attempt to sew all of these lovely and grand dresses seen during the film. A lot of them i have been working on for a while and have been tweaking to get all those little details right, which is a lot of work and trial-and-error that can be frustrating and rewarding when it's right :)

The first dress i will unveil is the JUMP dress that i just finished. Tomorrow i will take photos and post it for you all to see. It will be modelled by my Hot Toys Caucasian Female Figurine http://www.hottoys.com.hk/(no longer available, I got mine from eBay). See you guys tomorrow : D

My Very First Post :)

Okay here goes,
Welcome to my blog. I'v been wanting to make this for a while and have finally decided to start doing this blog as a regular thing.
As you know this is Confessions Of A Male Sewer, therefore i will be confessing things and talking about things. Hopefully with some of you readers if you comment :D
This will be like a personal diary of what i feel at certain times and what i think about as well, but mostly, this blog will be about designing and the things i sew. These will mainly include movie costumes on a small scale as well as some other random things that i have been asked to do.
I hope you enjoy reading this blog, but its nowhere near complete and i want it to be an ongoing thing so check back regularly because i will hopefully have some new stuff up each time you look :)
